Channel 4 has seen fit to launch its first Christmas ad this year , an ad where the British television network very wisely condenses its extravagant alien personality the archetypes and political correctness of other channels and also the inimitable eccentricity of the year 2020.
“#MerryDifferent” (that’s the name of the new Channel 4) brings together characters associated with multiple festivities (the Easter bunny, Cupid, the St. Patrick’s Day leprechaun, the tooth fairy and the typical Halloween ghost) that they argue animatedly about the possible cancellation of Christmas by Santa Claus.
All the characters Afghanistan Phone Number List put ideas on the table so that Christmas ends up being celebrated after all and despite the multiple overlapping restrictions to the coronavirus . The Easter Bunny suggests, for example, that children should strive to find their presents (conveniently hidden) and not just find them by the tree. The tooth fairy believes that Christmas should orbit around teeth (those that come off the teeth) and Cupid is convinced that Santa Claus should show more “sex appeal”.
However, the protagonists do not manage to agree until a strange character dressed as a pancake (and apparently related to Pancake Day) makes an Afghanistan Phone Number Database appearance. The pancake emphasizes that, although all those summoned there are different, the difference can also carry good things (in reference to the atypical Christmases that are just around the corner).
The fun Channel 4 spot is signed by 4Creative , the network’s in-house creativity team, directors Jeff Low and David Kolbusz (who is CCO of Droga5 London) and the production company Biscuit Filmworks.
