On February 24, the V Edition of the Telepizza Excellence Lab university project begins , a laboratory of great ideas promoted by the leading brand in delivery pizza in Spain that every year, since 2017, opens the doors to the creativity of new generations. The relationship between Telepizza and football has always been very close . For years, the brand has collaborated with various grassroots football teams, betting on youth talent from the sports world . In 2018, Telepizza consolidated this link by becoming a collaborating brand of LaLiga Genuine Santander, the first league for people from the DI group (people with intellectual disabilities). This collaboration was completed in September 2020, when Telepizza and LaLiga announced an agreement whereby the leading pizza delivery company in Spain would become an official sponsor of LaLiga Santander and Smartbank for the next three seasons. Now, Telepizza extends this collaboration with the new challenge of Telepizza Excellence Lab 2021.

The students participating in this V Edition of Telepizza Excellence Lab will work for 5 months to come up with original proposals and ideas that promote and grow the collaboration between both brands. During this time, Telepizza will hold work sessions with each university to finish outlining their proposals and, as a novelty this year, it will have a mentoring program in which active marketing and communication professionals will advise students on the approach and viability of your projects.
